THE VINEYARDS AT ANDERSON

Units 1 through 3 of the first phase of the Vineyards at Anderson are currently under construction.  An SDS prepared subdivision map was approved in 2004 for 242 single-family lots on land within the City of Anderson.  

Sharrah Dunlap Sawyer is currently preparing construction documents for the next 61 lots (unit 4). In addition, we are: processing a use-permit for operational vineyards within the project to support a future winery with the locally grown grapes, preparing the tentative map for phase 2 of the project which will consist of approximately 660 additional units, designing a 3 mile long sewer trunk line to serve the ultimate project, and working on the civil plans for a recreation center to be built within phase one of the project.

A specific plan is being prepared for the ultimate build-out of the Vineyards which will consist of approximately 5,500 housing units on 2,400 acres.  The project is envisioned as a series of neighborhoods of high-quality homes supporting commercial and civic uses in a framework of preserved hillsides, parks, trails, landscaped roads and entries, and vineyards.
