Mountain Gate at Shasta will be a mixed use community north of the City of Shasta Lake’s downtown, west of Interstate-5.  The project will support 1,500 to 2,000 residential units, parks, an extensive open space trail system and commercial development while retaining the natural character of its setting. Stream corridors are being preserved, existing wetlands are being enhanced and the higher slopes of the property are being protected.  Sharrah Dunlap Sawyer is the civil engineer for the project.  We are preparing the tentative map, including preliminary grading and utility plans as well as hydrology and detention studies for the site.
