Bel Air Estates, designed, engineered and processed by Sharrah Dunlap Sawyer, was approved by the City of Redding in 2002; it consists of 143 single-family lots on 156 acres. The project includes a centrally located neighborhood park, 74 acres of natural open space, home sites taking advantage of the views, and lot sizes range from 10,000 square feet to 25,000 square feet.

In 2006 24 additional acres were approved as the Cottages at Bel Air Estates, a 55-lot planned development consisting of three unique neighborhoods of single-story homes situated around private loop roads with central landscaped features.

Sharrah Dunlap Sawyer is currently processing a tentative subdivision map for an additional 23 single-family lots on 18-acres of land that has been acquired by the owners of Bel Air Estates.

Ochoa Shehan is currently constructing homes within unit-1 of the project.
