Highland Park

Redding, CA

Currently under construction and selling homes, Highland Park is a 420 unit residential infill project located in Redding, California. The 100 acre project is adjacent to I-5 and surrounded by established neighborhoods.

Highland Park is a diverse housing mix of multi- and single-family homes, an 8 acre neighborhood park, an affordable housing component and 35 acres of natural open space for trails and habitat preservation.

SDS has worked with Palomar Builders and MCG LP from the start of Highland Park and we continue to prepare the construction documents and final maps for the ongoing phases of the project.

Salt Creek Heights

Redding, CA

Though minutes from downtown Redding, Salt Creek Heights is surrounded by natural beauty: Gold Run Creek to the east, Salt Creek to the west, and the Sacramento River to the north.

SDS master-planned, entitled, and engineered Salt Creek Heights for Sierra Pacific Industries. The 273 acre project consists of 440 residential units ranging from apartments and garden court homes to a variety of single family home sites. The project is designed to preserve the natural splendor of the site and its surroundings.

Salt Creek Heights includes: a centrally located 14 acre public park, pedestrian connections to the existing Sacramento River trail, and over half the site is protected as open space.

Dana Pointe Apartments

Redding, CA

Dana Pointe is a 2.2 acre urban infill project consisting of 26 apartment units within 8 buildings, each on its own parcel.

SDS has been involved from the start; from conceptual planning and entitlements to civil engineering and final mapping. The project was originally approved and designed for town home units within a planned development.

As market conditions changed the project proponent successfully requested that the PD permit be revised to allow apartments in place of the previously approved town homes. The project's current own MD Development is constructing the project.
